A Shift in Energy: Spiritual Alignment, Healing, and Taking the First Steps

There are moments in life where something shifts—not loudly, not dramatically—but deeply. You feel it in your energy, your clarity, and your connection to everything around you. Recently, I experienced one of those moments, and I feel called to share it.
Over the past few days, I underwent an energetic clearing performed by Appalachian Rootworks, Rooted in Ruins. What followed was something I can only describe as a true energetic reset. I felt lighter—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The noise quieted. The weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying began to lift.
This kind of spiritual cleansing and energy healing isn’t always easy to explain, but you know it when you feel it. There’s a clarity that comes with it. A sense of alignment. Almost like returning to a version of yourself that had been buried under stress, expectation, and the day-to-day chaos of life.
The Power of Awareness and Conversation
Shortly after this experience, I had a powerful conversation with Lizzie B. These are the kinds of conversations that remind you why you’re on this path in the first place.
We spoke about where we both are spiritually right now—not from a place of perfection, but from a place of honesty. Like so many people, we are still actively working through our personal lives, building structure, finding balance, and navigating the human experience.
And that’s important to say.
Spiritual growth doesn’t mean you have everything figured out. It means you’re aware. It means you’re trying. It means you’re willing to evolve.
Honoring the First Step
During our conversation, we also reflected on something easy to overlook—we took the first step.
Together, we created Eye Opener Society as more than just a podcast. We began building something bigger: a space for open spirituality, freedom of belief, and genuine connection.
Is everything finalized? No. Have all the legal steps been completed? Not yet.
But that doesn’t take away from what’s already been done.
There is real power in starting.
Too often, people wait for the “perfect moment,” the perfect plan, or full certainty before taking action. But spirituality—and life—doesn’t work that way. Alignment comes through movement. Growth comes through doing.
And in that sense, what we’ve already created is something to be proud of.
Feeling Aligned Again
Since the energetic clearing, I’ve felt a renewed sense of alignment—not just within myself, but within the direction we’re moving.
There’s a calmness that replaces the overthinking. A clarity that replaces confusion.A lightness that replaces heaviness.
It’s a reminder that sometimes, we don’t need to force our way forward. Sometimes, we just need to clear what’s blocking us and allow ourselves to realign naturally.
A Message for Anyone on This Path
If you’re reading this and you feel like you’re “not there yet,” like you’re still figuring things out—you’re not alone.
None of us has it all figured out.
But if you’re asking questions, seeking growth, and taking even the smallest steps forward… you’re already on the path.
And that matters more than perfection ever will.
