Gary Dean is a Bronx native, spiritual guide, and co-founder of the Eye Opener Society. His path toward spiritual enlightenment is deeply rooted in personal evolution, curiosity, and a steadfast commitment to finding truth outside the confines of traditional dogma.

Following a Catholic upbringing, Gary found that his expansive questions regarding life and the universe often went unanswered within a structured setting. This disconnect inspired him to forge his own path after high school, embarking on a quest for a more authentic connection to the divine. This journey led him through various philosophies until he found resonance in paganism, where he discovered a profound reverence for Mother Earth and the natural energies that bind us together.

Gary’s spiritual evolution took on new depth as he navigated significant personal transformations and mental health challenges. These trials served as a catalyst for growth rather than a hindrance. A transformative Reiki session became a pivot point, revitalizing his spirit and providing a clear sense of purpose. This awakening solidified his dedication to fostering spiritual wellness and helping others find their internal peace.

With a long-standing personal meditation practice focused on grounding and self-regulation, Gary began consulting to share these tools. He launched a podcast as a modest way to share his insights, which quickly blossomed into a vibrant hub for raw, honest dialogue. The growth of the podcast, enriched by his stepdaughter's perspective and later by his partnership with Lizzie B, gave rise to the Eye Opener Society movement—an inclusive church dedicated to spiritual freedom.

Gary further deepened his spiritual foundation through formal study, earning a Bachelor of Science in Metaphysical Studies from the University of Sedona. This academic experience complemented his lived journey, blending structured knowledge with intuitive practice.
